Free park on the 3rd floor of the historic Pier 57, to take a break or get some sun and enjoy a pleasant view.

One of my favorite places in nyc. Seeing the sunset and yapping with my friend for hours was quite the experience here. Felt like we were in the movies.

We went to Pastis, and waited for dinner one hour

We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at Pastis in NYC on Friday, October 16th! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We started with the oysters, which were delicious, followed by the steak tartare my mom ordered, which was truly divine, and the carpaccio my dad had, which was phenomenal. For our mains, we enjoyed the Niçoise salad and two steak frites, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Every dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. To finish, we shared the passion fruit tart, which was a perfect ending to an incredible meal — an easy 10 out of 10! Beyond the outstanding food, Pastis has that wonderful Parisian atmosphere that makes the entire experience feel special. It was the perfect place to enjoy a memorable meal with my parents. Everything was delicious, and we couldn't have asked for a better evening.

Run, don't walk, to Genesis House! We started with the dak gangjeong, a crispy spicy-sweet glazed chicken, and paired it with the beef tartare. Going back and forth between them was an incredible clash of flavors. The bulgogi beef and its amazing sides were next. As a picky eater, I had reservations about the bibimbap, but somehow it turned out to be a real highlight. The drinks were curated like works of art, and the service from the staff was top notch. Go hungry, and go soon!

This is a meaningful place. It's a restaurant I enjoy because I love the best atmosphere. The food is neat, and the traditional Korean cuisine is a bonus. The assorted sashimi is my favorite food: LA Galbi, Eonyang Bulgogi, Gwangyang Bulgogi, Seoul Bulgogi, Assorted Seafood Pancake, Amazing Handmade Tofu is the taste of home that my grandmother used to make. The seasonal kimchi bibimbap side dishes were neat and experienced as high-quality food. The service staff kindly explained each dish one by one. I will be revisiting soon with my family. Thank you, Genesis House Restaurant.

I’ve been here many times and always have a great time. It has such a brilliant vibe and atmosphere, and the location is fantastic. Even walking up through the store is part of the experience, with all the amazing furniture to look at, and there are plenty of great places nearby too. A couple of tips to keep in mind: come with a relaxed attitude because this is a very busy location, and your whole group needs to be there before they’ll seat you. That said, when we had to wait around 15 minutes, they were lovely and brought us complimentary drinks. The food and presentation are consistently amazing, and the service is well timed without anyone hovering over you. I also love the atmosphere of people actually talking and enjoying themselves. It always feels lively without feeling forced. One final tip: don’t bring your car unless you really have to. Street parking around the area is generally limited to two hours, so it’s not worth the risk of getting a ticket. You’re much better off using one of the nearby parking garages.

The restaurant was nice inside, however the lighting is quite dim, we needed our camera flashlights to see the menu. The timing of food to our table was great and our waiter was as well ! The food selection wasn't a big one but the options were nice. Taste of food I ate was ok, the Tangerine chicken with white rice. I felt that should be priced together and not separate. Overall it was a nice experience. They accommodated us to a table even though we were late.

Scoring a reservation at Don Angie isn’t easy, but it was absolutely worth it. The restaurant did not disappoint! Every dish has its own creative twist, making even familiar classics feel special. And the lasagna? Next level! The service was just as impressive. The waiters were extremely professional yet relaxed and friendly—attentive without being in your face. What really sets Don Angie apart is that it’s not just a place you go once to see what all the hype is about. It’s a place you genuinely want to come back to. And we definitely will!

This review is long overdue!!!! Visit date: 2/23/26 Don Angie has been on my list since moving to NYC almost four years ago. As you can imagine, securing a reservation is very unlikely. So my partner and I took a chance with the walk in waiting list. After 2 to 3 hours, then boom the text came through. We ordered the OG pinwheel pasta and a few drinks. As beautiful and delicious as the dish looked, it was INCREDIBLY salty; Making it difficult to finish. The bread sticks were drenched in oil, which gave them a spongey texture. The only saving grace was the tiramisu and the drinks. This place is what really made me stop trusting TikTok and Instagram reviews.
