A great spot to relax and enjoy some craft beer. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with a spacious bar, colorful décor, and a fun industrial-style setting. There’s also an outdoor courtyard and an arcade area that adds something different to the experience. The beer selection is impressive, with plenty of unique options and tasting flights available for anyone wanting to sample different styles. The variety of cans available to take home is another nice touch. Fun brewery with a laid-back atmosphere, plenty of seating, and a great selection of craft beers. Definitely worth checking out while in DC!

Having recently attended Vera for dinner on Saturday night I was delighted by the new drinks & food on the fall menu. I sampled both the Raiz de Fuego (smoked Basil Hayden with carrot and pumpkin) and Zahra Na'isa (chamomile pear gin & tonic) -- both drinks I would happily revisit-- the Raiz de Fuego particularly blew me away. The smell of the smoked wood and warm flavors brought me back to happy fall memories with family :) The food was delicious with the zaatar guacamole and Lebanese chicken rolls being strong stand outs. The bartenders were all very helpful and provided 10/10 service throughout my meal. Overall, fantastic experience that made me happy I live in DC!

Had a family gathering at Ivy City for my daughter on October 7, 2026. We had a delicious buffet meal that included hamburger sliders , salmon balls, baked chicken wings, rice, and salad. The food was delicious!

The restaurant is in an interesting spot, with limited street parking. The food is really good, and I think the Happy Hour promotion makes the food worth it. The Salmon Nuggets are something unique that not a lot of other restaurants serve. The brisket sandwich and smash burger were good as they were flavorful and the portions are reasonable.

I'm genuinely sad to leave this one-star review because I *used to* love this place. I've been a regular customer for at least five years, visiting almost every week since I live nearby. The food is generally good, the service is quick, and the prices are reasonable. Unfortunately, my experience yesterday completely changed how I feel about this place. Yesterday, I ordered a sandwich along with some additional sides. When I got home, I realized the sandwich was missing. Thinking I might have forgotten to pick it up, I drove all the way back because it was supposed to be my young child's dinner. I politely explained to the cashier that I had forgotten to pick up the sandwich. He immediately entered a new order and expected me to pay. Confused, I asked the employee who originally took my order whether I had specifically requested a sandwich. Instead of explaining what happened, he started speaking to his coworkers in Spanish, and they began laughing. Then another employee, who has laughed at my wife and me on several occasions in the past for reasons I still don't understand, repeatedly insisted in an angry tone that I hadn't paid for the sandwich. I explained that I understood there might have been a misunderstanding. My question was simple: If I specifically asked for a sandwich when placing my order, why wasn't I told it hadn't been included or charged? **The issue was never about paying for a sandwich. It was about how I was treated.** After five years of being a loyal customer, I expected at least a respectful explanation rather than laughter, dismissive behavior, and an angry tone. Even if the mistake was entirely mine, there was absolutely no reason to treat a customer that way. I eventually walked out without the sandwich. Unfortunately, I won't be spending my money here again. It's a shame because I genuinely enjoyed this place for years. Good food and reasonable prices mean very little when basic customer service and respect are missing.

The people that run this establishment is very kind and very professional. It really take your time to cater to us. I’m a black man in America and with restaurants in the neighborhood that’s becoming very rare. This establishment gets five stars from me and I will definitely continue to eat here. I’ve been around this neighborhood for 13 years and their food is always on point in the atmosphere is always wonderful.

My family and I have been going to MGM for 10+ years and it ALWAYS hits the spot! Our all time favorite sandwiches are The Down South, The Club, and (secret menu) Crab Cake. *Chef’s kiss*. These guys are an excellent catering option - we’ve served MGM at parties ranging from 15-70 people.
